Lead Inspector

• This is an 8-hour in-person first shift position Monday - Friday
• Hours can be 5am-1pm 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm
• Possible overtime based on Company needs.

• Aid in development of quality and inspection plans from design drawings meeting Company requirements for ISO 9001-2008 ISO 13485.
• Program and operate CMM to specifications.
• Program and operate portable arm to specifications.
• Perform inspections on first piece in process purchased part and finished material and products.
• Complete all required records and paperwork to include inspection reports damage reports return reports and re-work orders.
• Train and supervise quality department staff to ensure Company and department goals are met.
• Take an active role in coaching and mentoring team members at all skill levels with a focus on developing both technical capabilities and professional growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School education or GED.
• 7 years related quality and inspection experience.
• 5 years CMM programming experience.
• Blueprint knowledge including GD&T.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Progressive knowledge of industry software.
• Intermediate use of Microsoft software.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience training and knowledge to perform validations first article inspection reports and perform risk assessments related to facility process and product.

• Reverse engineering and Solid Modeling experience.
• Zeiss CMM FARO Arm and/or Micro Vu experience is a plus.
• Prior experience working with automotive aerospace and medical industries.
• Prior machining or CNC operation also a plus.
• CQI or TQM certification.
• Toolmaker experience.
• Reverse engineering and Solid Modeling experience.
• Experience working in a job shop manufacturing environment.
