Job Summary

The Golden Hills School Division invites applicationsfor a full -time ( 1.0 FTE) probationary teacher at George Freeman School in Strathmore AB for the 2026/2027 school year . The teaching assignment is for: Junior High Humanities .

George Freeman is a Kindergarten to Grade 9 school that opened in the fall of 2018. It is attached to a large joint-use recreational facility. Teachers that are interested in collaboration teamwork and culture building are encouraged to apply. A background in Fine Arts or Athletics will be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong 21st century teaching skills including learning design that ensures high student engagement critical thinking skills inquiry and the use of technology as a learning tool.
