Lead DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

Responsibilities

• Design deploy and maintain scalable secure and highly available infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2 S3 RDS VPC ECS Lambda Cognito Eventbridge and others.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CDK script to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance availability and cost implementing best practices for resource utilization and cost optimization.
• Implement security best practices and controls to ensure the confidentiality integrity and availability of data and applications hosted on AWS.
• Implement compliance frameworks and standards ensuring adherence to HIMS Cloud Security Policy.
• Design implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated build test and deployment of applications using tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
• Automate code deployment configuration management and release processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software updates to production environments.
• Integrate automated testing static code analysis and security scanning into CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality security and compliance.

Requirements

• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Proven experience in DevOps engineering roles with a focus on AWS cloud services CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in project execution and demonstrated technical expertise.
• Expertise in designing deploying and managing scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS with a deep understanding of AWS services networking and security.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps including configuration customization and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools such as AWS CDK for automating cloud resource provisioning and management.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell for automation infrastructure management and tooling development.
• Familiarity with security best practices compliance frameworks and security controls for cloud environments. Knowledge of HIMS Cloud Security Policy is a plus.
• Experience working with HCC (Healthcare Commercial Cloud) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
