Job Summary

Workday Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Location: Irvine CA
Industry: Financial Services (or similar regulated environment)

Seeking a Workday Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support enhance and optimize their Workday platform. This role will partner with HR Finance Payroll and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Workday solutions while ensuring system stability compliance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert for the Workday platform and supported modules
Partner with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document functional requirements
Configure maintain and support Workday business processes reports and integrations
Support system enhancements upgrades and new module implementations
Troubleshoot issues perform root cause analysis and coordinate resolutions
Ensure data integrity security and compliance with internal controls
Create and maintain system documentation and user training materials
Collaborate with vendors and internal technical teams as needed
Support testing deployment and post-implementation activities

Qualifications

3 years of experience supporting Workday as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
Hands-on experience with one or more Workday modules (HCM Payroll Financials Benefits Recruiting etc.)
Strong understanding of business process design and system configuration
Experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional solutions
Familiarity with reporting data validation and integrations within Workday
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred
