Role Summary
As a Cost Manager for Commercial & Banking FitOut Projects you will manage the full spectrum of cost management activities across branch upgrades corporate office fitouts and banking environment refurbishments. You will support cost planning tender management commercial reporting and postcontract cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with client requirements.
Project Support & Coordination
- Demonstrate strong understanding of precontract and postcontract cost management processes for fitout and interior projects.
- Prepare cost estimates budgets and detailed cost plans for banking branches office fitouts and refurbishment works.
- Support tendering and procurement activities including preparing tender documentation evaluating bids reviewing commercial submissions and compiling contract documents.
- Assist in monitoring project costs managing variations and supporting change control procedures.
- Coordinate closely with design teams contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment on project scope materials and finishes.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare monthly postcontract cost reports and support client presentations.
- Assist in value engineering and costsaving initiatives related to materials specifications and construction methods.
- Maintain accurate cost records cashflow tracking and documentation throughout the project.
- Support compliance with internal governance processes and ensure all costrelated decisions are properly documented.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across projects.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Cost Management Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in cost management or construction roles ideally with experience in fitout commercial interiors retail or banking environments.
- Good understanding of cost planning tendering procurement and postcontract cost control.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CostX or similar estimating tools.
- Businesslevel and native English proficiency.
