What Youll Be Doing

Retail Payment Servicesis responsible for processing payments for credit and debit cards EFTs and electronic payments and cheques for CIBCs clients as well as third party clients. As a Senior Consultant Operations Management you will be part of the Change & Process Management team in Payments & Estates where you will lead initiatives and communication of changes impacting the Cheque Servicing portfolio by correctly identifying problems and resolutions. You will be assessing the impact effectiveness and feasibility of proposed changes as well as recommending decisions and providing support as a subject matter will participate in and/or facilitate internal and external client meetings at various levels taking ownership of activities to ensure client needs are met or exceeded. You will work closely with the Payments & Estates Leadership Team to fully understand business needs and advocate for solutions that align with the business objectives.

How Youll Succeed

  • Change Management - Deliver change on time and within scope of change objectives to bring value while mitigating impact. Ensure the change is sustained.

  • Stakeholder Management - Proactively engage our internal and external partners throughout the initiative to ensure there is support and awareness and to mitigate possible impact from changes.

  • Relationship Management You build strong relationships internally and externally. You understand views of various stakeholders and facilitate problem solving to find the best solutions for our clients employees and shareholders. You collaborate with team members or other departments responsible for communication training etc. to ensure that related strategies are aligned with PCM (i.e. ensure that the communication strategy and plan and the training strategy and plan developed addresses key risks and change impacts)

  • Process Improvement - Apply process improvement frameworks tools and artifacts to be able to define measure analyze improve and control a problem.

  • Project Management Utilize project management best practices to manage project portfolio. Be able to plan execute control and close projects.

  • Leadership - Provide thorough leadership and guidance to the program and project team with respect to PCM requirements

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experiencein successfully applying project and change management methodologies throughout all project phases. This includes conducting end to end assessments on process changes to determine impacts and engaging impacted groups to collaborate on the implementation of changes. This includes complex initiatives.

  • It is an asset. If you have experience with Payments and Cheque related processes.

  • You have a degree/diploma. In Business Commerce and/or related program.
