Job Description

Do you thrive in a fast paced environment where accuracy and teamwork matter Join our Shipping & Receiving team and play a critical role in keeping operations moving safely efficiently and on time. Come join us as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Temple TX.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations ensuring the timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods while adhering to regulatory and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing transparency in logistics operations.
  • Manage purchase orders to ensure timely processing and fulfilment maintaining efficient inventory and stock levels.
  • Coordinate with carriers freight forwarders and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments ensuring efficient and timely logistics operations.
  • Implement strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations reducing travel distances and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that all data related to logistics and inventory management is accurately recorded in the system supporting data-driven decision-making and reporting.
  • Contribute to the plants production reporting process by providing key logistics insights supporting performance analysis and the achievement of KPIs.
  • Act as the liaison between plant management and logistics teams promoting effective communication and ensuring alignment on production and logistics priorities.

About The Role:

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator overseeing the administrative aspects of the shipping and receiving operations including supporting with dock usage managing incoming and outgoing shipments and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. The key responsibility involves managing the inventory system driving customer satisfaction through on-time deliveries and collaborating with operations leadership to facilitate the movement of pallets products and materials by forklift operators and other material handlers.

What You Will Bring

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/equivalent or 2 or more years experience in a warehouse setting

  • Knowledge/Usage of inventory and/or warehouse management systems with experience using COLT or similar software preferred.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams external vendors and customers.

  • Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous shipping and receiving and administrative experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

What To Expect:

Additional Site Details

  • This is a 1st Shift Role (7am-3:30pm)

  • 2-shift Operations Monday through Friday (weekends possible based on business needs)

  • 40-60 employees total

  • Weekly pallet production volume: 16000 sorts & 5000 repairs (could increase once new site opens)

  • New site operating in May 2026!
