Job Summary
Scopely is looking for aSenior Software Engineer to join our Playgami team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do
- Design architect and help implement features to run world-class games at scale
- Drive the integration of new features directly with game teams using technologies likeJava C# and NodeJs
- Take responsibility for the quality of what the team creates helping to establish goodpractices
- Ensure our systems are reliable scalable secure and highly performant
- Deliver code and supporting documentation of the highest quality through good designattention to detail and system testing on a timely basis
- Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter
- Team up with skilled colleagues who are committed to delivering the best productspossible
- Share knowledge provide feedback and help colleagues both inside and outside of yourteam
What Were Looking For
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures concurrency design patterns algorithms)
- High-quality and maintainable code writing
- Strong experience with Java C# or another OO language including experience with asynchronous multi-threaded parallel programming paradigms
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS GCP...) and low-latency high-scale distributed systems
- Willingness and interest in working across different technologies
- Quick learner and self-starter who is always looking to further improve your skills
- Strong English language skills are required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business
Bonus Points
- Web development experience on a modern technology such as React Vue or Angular
- Experience with and knowledge of Unity Game Engine or a similar technology (i.e. Unreal Engine)
- Experience owning and driving the technical execution of complex and interdisciplinary developments.
