Centurion is proud to be the provider ofmedical servicesto the Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time day shift EMTto join our team at El Dorado CorrectionalFacilitylocated in El Dorado Kansas.
The EMT may be responsible for gathering patient vital signs obtaining specimens applying dressings assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration assisting in examinations and assisting patients with activities of daily living. Additional responsibilities include working closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients recognizing and documenting the signs and symptoms of medical needs warranting additional professional expertise and notifying the appropriate medical staff of changes in patients condition reaction to medications and/or treatments and of other significant incidents.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in the State of Kansas
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
