Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities across the U.S. to perform on-site installations and integrations of automation systems.
  • Mechanically and electrically assemble install and commission industrial automation equipment.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for automated systems including mechanical electrical and software components.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful system deployment.
  • Document service activities installation procedures and customer interactions.
  • Train customer personnel on system operation and basic maintenance.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during all site visits.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Industrial Automation or related field is preferred; High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Familiarity with PLCs HMIs sensors actuators and industrial control systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in complex automation systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 5075% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid drivers license.

Preferred Skills

  • 2 years of experience in field service automation integration or industrial equipment installation.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Exposure to and interest in robotic & vision systems
  • Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (Ethernet/IPetc.).
  • OSHA safety training/certifications
