Position Summary
7 Air Cargo is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedBilling & Revenue Support Specialistto manage accurate and timely invoicing billing reconciliation and revenue operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all customer billing aligns with contractual terms service documentation and internal compliance standards while supporting cash flow and minimizing billing cycle delays. This role requires collaboration across operations finance and customer service teams in a fast-paced air cargo environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare review and issue invoices for cargo handling freight services and operational charges in accordance with contracts and approved rates.
- Validate billing data against supporting documentation including Air Waybills (AWBs) manifests service logs and contracts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies missing charges or incorrect customer rates prior to invoicing.
- Support accounts receivable by resolving unpaid invoices customer inquiries and billing disputes.
- Maintain updated customer contracts pricing and billing terms.
- Generate billing and revenue reports review flight activity and assist with month-end close activities.
- Collaborate with operations cargo handling and customer service teams to proactively address billing issues and prevent customer dissatisfaction.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in finance billing or related field.
- Proven experience in billing collections or accounts receivable roles.
- Bilingual inEnglish and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of billing procedures collection techniques and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word) and accounting or database systems.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
Physical & Work Environment
- Occasional standing walking sitting reaching or lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close and distance vision color vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Moderate noise environment typical of an office and operational setting.
