Job Summary

AEITS Inc. a GTSC company is growing its team! Seeking a Cloud Architect Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer Level III to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction MD area.

Location: Annapolis Junction Maryland

All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Mission: As a Cloud Architect Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer you will analyze users requirements concept of operations documents and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
  • Seven (7) years of demonstrated combined years of experience (YOE) in cloud and artificial intelligence systems with a bachelors degree; if Masters degree then five (5) YOE; if Ph.D. 3 YOE else 12 years of relevant DoD program management or relevant experience if a high school/GED graduate.

Certifications:

  • No certifications required.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud Architecture/ Cloud Engineer/ Platform Engineering (especially in AWS).
  • AI/ML system design and implementation.
  • High-level understanding of the AI lifecycle (development training inference monitoring).
  • Experience with ML pipeline development model deployment and DevOps/ML Ops.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a variety of stakeholder groups ability to proactively engage with these groups to understand requirements and inform system architecture decisions.
  • System security and networking (particularly the implementation of system security on classified systems).
  • Data engineering and data lifecycle management.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Amazon SafeMaker is a plus.

You are responsible for:

  • Analyzes users requirements concept of operations documents and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
  • Guides users in formulating requirements advises alternative approaches and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements design and technology. Incorporates new plans designs and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Develops technical documentation.
  • Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
  • Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems issues or conflicts.
  • Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Communicates with other program personnel government overseers and senior executives.

Education and Required Qualification

  • A High School Diploma or GED plus twelve (12) years of general system engineering experience.
    OR
  • A Bachelors degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus seven (7) years of systems engineering experience.
    OR
  • A Masters degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus five (5) years of systems engineering experience.
    OR
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus three (3) years of systems engineering experience.

Travel

  • Less than 10% travel may occur.
