A healthcare facility is seeking a Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures in an acute care setting. This role primarily supports pediatric patient populations and works collaboratively with physicians and clinical teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.
Perform echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain the examination process
Maintain accurate patient records and complete required documentation
Ensure proper operation care and routine maintenance of ultrasound equipment
Adhere to hospital safety infection control and patient care standards
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare staff to support optimal patient outcomes
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Echo Technician / Sonographer
Experience performing stress echocardiography
Pediatric cardiac sonography experience strongly preferred
Required:
Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program (including military training if applicable)
Required (one of the following):
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) ARDMS or
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) CCI
Additional Requirement:
BLS (AHA) certification
