The City of Edmonton is seeking a strategic and experienced leader for the role of Supervisor Field Operations Central. This crucial leadership position is at the heart of maintaining the citys mobility network and cleanliness in the Southeast District. As the Supervisor you will lead a large diverse team of up to 100 staff and manage a significant annual budget (approximately $20M) to ensure effective delivery of essential services. Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of field operations including overseeing critical winter snow and ice control operations as well as managing summer reactive sanitation efforts like litter management illegal dumping and street sweeping. - Manage financial resources including determining budget requirements monitoring and managing costs and allocating a proportion of the District SNIC budget (approximately $37M annually)
- Provide quarterly program financial projections and deliver monthly performance reporting including explanations for financial variance
- Support city-wide roadway district operations as a rotating Mobility Infrastructure Services Standby Contact available for after-hours emergencies
