Job Summary

Installation Technician (Eldridge IA)

Central Broadband is hiring an Installation Technician based in Eldridge Iowa (near the Quad Cities).

What youll do:

Install and repair internet phone and video services at customer locations.

Troubleshoot service issues end-to-end to restore customer connectivity and satisfaction.

Work both indoors (customer premises) and outdoors in varying conditions; it may include tight spaces and ladder/stair work.

Participate in on-call rotation and occasional off-hours work.

Required qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Excellent written/verbal communication; strong customer service mindset.

Ability to work independently; detail-oriented; fast learner/self-starter.

Strong troubleshooting ability.

Comfortable with PCs and smartphone apps (Google/Microsoft/Adobe etc.).

Experience using basic hand tools and drills; safety-first mindset.

Eligible to work in the USA.

Preferred:

Cabling experience; CATV/IPTV exposure; basic electrical theory.

Physical/working Requirements:

Valid drivers license; able to drive company vehicles and travel to customer locations.

Push/pull/bend/stoop/climb/reach; lift 75 lbs; work on ladders/stairs and in tight spaces.

Good hearing and ability to distinguish colors; pass drug testing.
