In this role you will be working as a Mechanical Drafter for a manufacturer of aluminum boats. This position is responsible for producing and updating technical drawings 3D models and documentation packages that support the engineering and program teams. You will play a key part in helping deliver Governmentcompliant drawing sets under tight deadlines for active production programs.

This position is available on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an immediate and longterm need for our client. This is a full-time role with overtime available and expected and must be done on-site.

Pay: $25 $35 / hr depending on experience and qualifications

Job Requirements

3-8 years of experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino3D
- Ability to produce and revise 2D drawings for mechanical structural or marine systems and create and update 3D models as needed
Experience supporting technical drawing packages in Government regulated or engineeringdriven environments
Ability to collaborate with engineers and project staff in a fastpaced environment
Prior experience in marine drafting aluminum fabrication drafting or related industries is a plus

Bonus

Relevant technical degree or drafting education
Experience preparing Government or classificationstandard deliverables
Familiarity with marine vessel components or aluminum boat construction
