Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care coronary care diagnostics gynaecology paediatric neonatal intensive care/ICU maternity mental health rehabilitation and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydneys western suburbs providing world-class clinical facilities services and care.
Nepean Hospital is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a Permanent Full time or Part time role. This role provides specialised Nursing care to premature and critically ill neonates supporting their complex medical needs while working closely with families in a highly specialised environment. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering family-centred evidence-based care in a modern and supportive NICU setting.
This is a role where you will provide comprehensive Nursing care to neonates requiring intensive and high-dependency care monitor and manage complex clinical conditions and specialised equipment support and educate parents and families throughout their NICU journey and collaborate with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care.
You will bring to the role strong clinical assessment critical thinking technical skills excellent communication and family-centred care approach. You will work with a supportive and experienced Neonatal team and have the opportunity to work in a high-acuity specialised clinical environment with professional development and learning opportunities.
