Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering. Specialising in Mechanical/Structural Design Antenna Theory or RF Electronics/Firmware.
- 10 years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership
- Recognised subject matter expert in your discipline e.g. structural mechanics
- Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD STANAG IEC ISO)
- MS Office (Proficient)
- MATLAB / Python / FEKO / HFSS / CST / Similar simulation and analysis tools (Beneficial)
- Act as the design authority for your discipline leading complex system designs and ensuring technical excellence
- Guide and review design activities to ensure compliance manufacturability and performance integrity
- Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Support opportunity evaluation feasibility studies and bid development
- Collaborate with other Chief Engineers and executive leadership to align technical strategy with company objectives
- Drive research process improvement and intellectual property generation
