Job Summary
Sioux Falls Ford Lincoln is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a part-time delivery driver/shipping and receiving assistant. We are looking for energetic and committed team members to join our parts department. This position will be operating a delivery vehicle in a safe and cautious fashion and maintain a clean driving record.
Essential Duties:
- Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers satellite stores wholesale accounts and vendors.
- Verify items with matching invoice and that there is a purchase order for any pick-ups.
- Verify part number and quantity match each customer invoice at dealership and upon delivery.
- Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups.
- Receive all deliveries verifying bills of lading against pieces received.
- Distributes and locates parts into bins for collection.
- Scraps all authorized replaced warranty parts on a monthly basis.
- Cleans and restocks shipping and receiving area
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Companys Vision Mission and Values in all interactions with customers co-workers and suppliers
Job Requirements:
- Excellent oral written and interpersonal and phone etiquette skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instruction / information
- A positive attitude exceptional work ethic and willingness to learn
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Forklift experience a plus but not required
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record and the ability to successfully pass a background check
