Position: RN Hemodialysis

Location: Manhattan NY
Assignment Type: Contract (Travel or Local)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Shift: 12:00 PM 12:30 AM

Pay Rates:

• Local: $70$77/hour

• Travel: $79$91/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Hemodialysis to join a high-volume acute care setting in Manhattan. This role involves providing safe effective dialysis care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patients with complex renal needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatments in accordance with clinical protocols

• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy with precision and consistency

• Administer and monitor patients under conscious sedation when required

• Assess patients before during and after dialysis treatments

• Monitor vital signs document care accurately and respond to changes in patient condition

• Educate patients and families on dialysis care and treatment plans

• Maintain compliance with state regulations infection control and safety standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) experience

• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

• Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience

Education

Required:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

Certifications & Licensure

Required:

• Active New York State RN License

• Primary Source Verification of RN license via NYSED
