Job Summary
Overview:
This position is M-F during typical School hours (7-4pm). There are three options for FTE in this position.
Option 1: 0.8 FTE works 5 days a week during the school year with summers off.
Option 2: 0.8 FTE works 4 days a week year-round
Option 3: 1.0 FTE works 5 days a week year-round.
Our School Based Health centers are located throughout Franklin County and this position will cover 2 of these sites.

Job Description:
- Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
- Assesses individualized patient needs and plans implements educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
- Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
- Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
- Documents according to organizational standards policies and procedures.
- Engages in the workplace community by staying aware of changes participating in data collection or auditing understanding Quality Improvement and representing staff at relevant meetings and then reporting important information and updates back to staff.
Education Requirement:
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school required.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred. Must successfully complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Licensure Requirement:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio required.

Experience:
Three years of pediatric clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
