SEND Provision:
The school seeks an experienced and passionate SENCO to lead and strengthen its SEND provision. The SENCO will be responsible for identifying pupil needs overseeing assessments coordinating tailored intervention programmes managing teaching assistants developing individual support plans liaising with external agencies and ensuring compliance with the SEND Code of Practice.

You will work closely with classroom teachers to promote high-quality inclusive practice and ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to progress academically socially and emotionally. The SENCO will provide staff training monitor SEND provision across year groups contribute to whole-school strategic planning and ensure the highest standards of documentation.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete within statutory timeframe)
Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary or secondary school
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory guidance
Ability to lead staff coordinate provision and communicate effectively with parents and external agencies
Excellent organisational skills and accuracy in documentation
Confidence managing EHCP processes interventions and assessments
Empathy patience and a commitment to inclusive child-centred education
