We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer to be the technical architect and primary owner of our corporate systems focusing on reliability security and scalability. This role isnt just about break/fix; its about engineering robust solutions that provide a seamless and secure experience for every employee recognizing that a modern high-performing tech team requires a best-in-class operational foundation.

What youll be doing

You will be the core engineer responsible for the design deployment and continuous improvement of our critical employee-facing and security systems.

• Apple Ecosystem Management: Architect maintain and evolve our device management platform primarily Jamf Pro ensuring secure and consistent configuration across our Apple fleet (macOS iOS). This includes configuration profiles patch management application deployment and compliance enforcement.

• Zero-Touch Deployment & Lifecycle: Lead the implementation of modern scalable deployment and provisioning workflows using tools like Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Jamf ensuring a true zero-touch setup experience for new hires globally.

• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Own and optimize our core identity platform Okta. Design and implement complex SSO MFA lifecycle management (LCM) and access policies (e.g. configuring SCIM integrations and Universal Directory).

• Automation & Scripting: Design and deploy automation solutions (using Python PowerShell or Bash) to streamline common IT operations tasks improve audit logging and reduce manual intervention across the ecosystem.

• Security & Compliance: Develop and enforce security baselines and policies across all managed devices and cloud services aligning with our broader security strategy. Conduct regular health checks and vulnerability remediation across systems.

• System Architecture & Strategy: Contribute to the IT roadmap and strategic planning evaluating new technologies and tooling to enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience.

What were looking for in you

Youre a practical systems-focused builder who thinks in terms of employee enablement and security posture.

• Deep Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on experience as the primary administrator or engineer for the Jamf Pro platform and the Okta identity management suite.

• Apple Expertise: Strong understanding of the Apple ecosystem including lifecycle management through Apple Business Manager (ABM) and VPP.

• Scripting Fluency: Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash) for system automation reporting and maintenance tasks.

• Operational Mindset: Experience designing testing and supporting robust production-ready IT systems not just isolated solutions.

• Communication & Collaboration: Comfortable working cross-functionally with Security Engineering and People/HR teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
