ASSEMBLER-QRC

Assembly of a wide variety of current and traditional parts. Following procedures drawings blueprints and specifications to specific instructions. Inspect own work to ensure quality. Other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to follow instructions.
Good mechanical and mathematical skills.
Must be able to actively participate and work in a team environment.
Attention to detail and quality focused.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated.

Must have good computer skills.
Ability to read and understand drawings blueprints and part specifications.
Ability to use and understand metric and standard measurements.

Knowledge in the use of hand tools power equipment precision measuring devices and simple cutting tools.
1-2 years mechanical experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Vocational education.
Familiarity with traditional and current machines.
3-5 years mechanical experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Shop environment.
Steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses required.
Must be able to regularly lift loads of up to 50 pounds.
Work can be strenuous and includes walking climbing kneeling crawling squatting pulling (such as on torque wrenches) and assembling large components.
Work overtime as required

SCHEDULE

Standard 8-hour shifts 150% paid anytime over 8 hours daily hours over 45 in a week are paid as double time
Shift availability standard schedules shown below
First Shift 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday - Friday
Second Shift 3:30 PM 12:00 AM Monday Friday 12.5% Shift Premium
Third Shift 11:00 PM 7:00 AM Sunday Thursday 7.5% Shift Premium
