About the Role
We are seeking motivated Trade Assistants to support our Carpentry and Electrical teams in the Mackay workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor you will assist with preparation assembly and general workshop activities.

These roles are offered on a fixed term contract basis for an initial period of three to six months with opportunities to extend for the right candidates. Occasional site support may be required.

Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Assist carpenters and electricians with basic assembly and construction tasks
Prepare materials tools and equipment for projects
Support installation of flooring cladding frames and structural components
Maintain cleanliness and order in the workshop in line with 5S standards
Assist with logistics moving materials and workshop organisation
Follow WHS procedures SWMS and risk assessments at all times

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in a construction electrical or modular environment is desirable but not essential
Willingness to learn and support trade teams
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset
Current Driver Licence
Personal hand tools are advantageous
