We seek a highly motivated Graduate Research Assistant for a fulltime twoyear position studying mechanisms of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy using iPSCderived sensory neuron cultures. The successful candidate will maintain and differentiate iPSC lines perform molecular and cellular assays (immunocytochemistry qPCR/RNA prep highcontent imaging Western blots) and contribute to image/data analysis and manuscript preparation. A BA/BS degree is required at start; sterile cell culture experience is preferred and familiarity with image analysis or basic scripting in R/Python is a plus. This role offers close mentorship authorship opportunities and strong preparation for PhD or MD/PhD training.
Bachelors degree with a strong background in science technology engineering or math. Authorization to work and remain in the United States without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now or in the future (for example be a U.S. citizen national or permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Preference will be given to those who have a BA/BS in biology neuroscience bioengineering or related field.
