Azure Kubernetes CI/CD Enterprise Scale
Are you a cloud-native Platform Engineer ready to design and run platforms at hyperscale
Were looking for a DevOps-focused Platform Engineer to build evolve and support secure highly available Azure platforms powering modern containerised applications. Youll sit at the heart of cloud delivery combining infrastructure automation observability and DevOps practices to create resilient platforms that engineering teams can trust.
From re-architecting legacy workloads to enabling cloud-native microservices this role gives you real influence over how platforms are designed deployed and operated at enterprise scale.
What youll be doing
Youll design and support the platforms that underpin our cloud-first strategy including:
- Designing implementing and supporting hyperscale Azure architectures
- Building and operating container platforms and orchestration tooling in production
- Enabling enterprise-grade application architectures including API gateways high availability load balancing and disaster recovery
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines including production deployments
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage platforms consistently
- Using configuration management and package/dependency tooling to standardise environments
- Integrating observability tooling to ensure platforms are measurable reliable and performant
- Applying DevOps tools and practices to on-premise workloads not just cloud-native services
- Supporting and delivering workload migrations between on-premise and hyperscale cloud environments
- Re-architecting applications to operate effectively in cloud-native and containerised environments
- Consulting across squads to embed DevOps best practices and improve delivery maturity
- Troubleshooting platform infrastructure and application performance issues
Technology scope
Your experience may span many of these areas you dont need to tick every box:
- Microsoft Azure
- Containers and orchestration platforms (e.g. Kubernetes)
- CI/CD tooling and release automation
- Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)
- Configuration management and dependency management
- Observability platforms (commercial or open source)
- Enterprise networking and on-premise infrastructure
What were looking for
Youre a hands-on Platform Engineer who enjoys building reliable systems and enabling teams with a strong DevOps mindset.
Youll bring:
- Proven experience designing implementing and supporting Azure-based platforms
- Strong experience with containerised microservice-oriented architectures
- Solid understanding of infrastructure management and troubleshooting
- Experience applying DevOps practices across cloud and on-premise environments
- Confidence consulting with and influencing multiple engineering squads
- A pragmatic automation-first approach to platform engineering
