About the Team

About the Role

- Collaborate with Workdays business Product Owners customers partners development teams including architecture consultants operations and product teams to understand their desired business outcomes and priorities.
- Work closely with product development teams through design development testing release and maintenance of the product to ensure its quality and successful delivery on-time.
- Define the product vision strategy and roadmap including the underlying technical capabilities.
- Drive solution design for each release based on user requirements technical architecture and business outcomes.
- Guide the product teams towards high value OKRs.
- Support education and adoption of platform features by internal development teams.
- Coordinate and align solution design across multiple scrum teams operating in a sophisticated distributed software environment.
- Communicate and evangelize the product area among the Workday community and at Workday events.
- Lead technical discussions with key internal and external stakeholders / customers.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 years experience in product management defining launching and iterating on impactful SaaS and/or cloud-based enterprise software products.

• 4 years experience in the Developer Platforms space either as an engineer or as a technical product manager.

• 4 years experience in infrastructure engineering with a focus on Public Cloud environments across AWS GCP and Azure.

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.

• Customer Empathy: Skilled at translating deep-seated customer pain points into impactful product solutions and improved user experiences.

• Data Analysis: Proficient in using advanced analytics tools to derive actionable insights guide prioritization and measure product success.

• Strategic Decision Making: Adept at balancing user needs business goals and technical feasibility using structured decision-making frameworks.

• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of industry trends competitive landscapes and emerging technologies within the relevant market.

• Product Research: Experienced in leading advanced research methodologies to identify market opportunities and decode user behavior.

• Stakeholder Management: Strong track record of managing expectations and influencing high-level executive leadership.

• Strategic Thinking: Actively shaping long-term product vision and identifying new strategic opportunities within the portfolio.
