We are seeking a Veterinary Internist (DACVIM or Residency-Trained) to join our growing specialty team in Chattanooga TN. This is a prime opportunity to practice advanced internal medicine with a high degree of clinical autonomy in a state-of-the-art facility.

About the Role

As an Internal Medicine Specialist you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing complex medical cases working alongside a collaborative group of specialists in Surgery Oncology and Emergency Medicine. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing advanced diagnostics including ultrasounds.
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Working alongside a skilled team of Emergency Clinicians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
  • Providing clinical guidance and support to referring veterinarians.
  • Delivering high-quality compassionate patient and client care.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Board Certification (DACVIM) or Residency Training in Internal Medicine.
  • Proficient in performing ultrasounds and other advanced diagnostic techniques.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a wide range of cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with specialists ER doctors and support staff.
