Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team supporting the AI2 project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development using Java Spring Boot and RESTful APIs along with experience deploying scalable microservices on AWS Cloud. This role requires solid hands-on technical skills a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient Java-based backend applications.

Implement and manage RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend and external systems.

Build and deploy microservices using Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.

Utilize AWS services including EC2 ECS/EKS S3 EBS RDS DynamoDB Lambda IAM and CloudWatch for cloud deployment and monitoring.

Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store retrieve and optimize data for performance and reliability.

Implement Docker-based containerized deployments and manage applications in cloud environments.

Integrate solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Git and other DevOps tools to enable automated testing and continuous delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot debug and optimize backend performance.

Follow coding standards documentation practices and agile methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

Strong proficiency with Spring / Spring Boot and REST API design.

Solid understanding of AWS services such as EC2 ECS/EKS S3 EBS RDS DynamoDB Lambda IAM and CloudWatch.

Experience working with microservices architecture and containerized environments using Docker.

Strong experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines source code management (Git) and DevOps best practices.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within agile teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

Knowledge of CloudFormation Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK Stack Prometheus Grafana).

Familiarity with AI/ML data processing environments (optional but a plus).
