Roles & Responsibilities

JD:

• A highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer responsible for driving end-to-end quality strategy across large-scale E Commerce platforms. This role ensures seamless reliable digital commerce experiences by leading comprehensive testing efforts influencing quality practices and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

• Own testing for key E Commerce modules: catalogue pricing promotions cart checkout payments and full order lifecycle.
• Define and execute test strategy detailed test plans and risk-based testing.
• Lead functional regression integration UAT and API testing activities.
• Manage defect lifecycle release readiness and production validation.
• Mentor junior QEs and promote best testing practices within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Business teams to ensure high-quality releases.

• Strong Quality Engineering background with deep E Commerce domain knowledge.
• Expertise in manual test design edge-case identification and coverage planning.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar) and ability to guide automation strategy.
• Proficient in API testing (Postman REST clients) and backend validations.
• Skilled in JIRA-based defect management and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of POS OMS WMS inventory systems and BlueYonder OMS microservices.
• Experience with AWS services (SQS DynamoDB CloudWatch) and monitoring tools (New Relic Splunk).
• Exposure to various payment methods (cash cards digital wallets gift cards) and retail peripherals (printers scanners).
• Preferred automation expertise including modern AI-based testing tools.
