The Role

As our Payroll & Benefits Manager youll be the go-to expert for payroll operations while partnering closely with leadership and restaurant managers. This role blends payroll precision with HR administration and compliance - perfect for someone who enjoys both structure and collaboration.

What Youll Do

  • Process accurate weekly payroll for seven franchise locations using ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage employee lifecycle changes including new hires rehires and terminations
  • Maintain employee records personnel files PTO tracking and benefits eligibility
  • Serve as a trusted payroll resource for employees and managers
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment regulations (new hire reporting FMLA COBRA OSHA etc.)
  • Coordinate employment verifications workers compensation and unemployment claims with third-party administrators
  • Support benefits administration including annual open enrollment 401(k) contributions and payroll deductions
  • Assist with payroll audits reporting and process improvements

What Were Looking For

  • 5 years of hands-on payroll experience; Strong working knowledge of ADP (additional platforms such as Paradox a plus)
  • Experience managing full-cycle payroll including bonuses and deductions
  • Comfort supporting payroll system implementations or transitions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Teams and HR/payroll technology
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills; Payroll is a deadline-oriented responsibility
  • Clear professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong sense of ethics confidentiality and accountability
