EisnerAmper is looking for a Receptionist in our Melville office. The receptionist works under the general supervision of the office manager and will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The position may require working additional hours during seasonal busy periods. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is very organized portrays a go-getter mentality and eager to provide exceptional service to the firm.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive helpful attitude.
- Assisting clients in finding their way around the office
- Announcing clients as necessary.
- Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying scanning faxing collating sending outgoing certified mail FedEx and taking notes. Sort and distribute mail and deliveries when received; and notifying staff on incoming packages.
- Answering phones in a professional manner and routing calls as necessary.
- AgilQuest Concierge; help with a variety of system override situations.
- Assist with room reservations maintain a desk reservation waitlist and notify employees when space becomes available.
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and ensure spaces remain clean organized and ready for use.
- Support for high level partners managers and staff.
- Type memos correspondence reports and other documents.
- Proofreading and stuffing 1099s W-2s etc.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Protect and maintain client confidentially.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of two years experience as a receptionist in a professional setting
- Experience with administrative and clerical procedures. Service or hospitality experience preferred as this role serves as a key point of contact for office-related requests.
Preferred candidates also have:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through on pending open tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Able to contribute positively as part of a team helping out with various tasks as required
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word Excel and Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and business dynamics.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
