The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for a Groundskeeper in the Golf Department. The incumbent maintains properties at Midwest Citys golf courses. Participates in all maintenance and project work consistent with the Citys long range goals. These properties include but are not limited to: Golf Course and practice areas maintenance facility and maintenance equipment and Clubhouse grounds and landscaping. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Experience of at least two years working knowledge of the maintenance of golf course tees fairways greens and seeding and maintenance practice for golf course turf. Possession of a Oklahoma Certified Applicator Certificate pesticide and herbicide preferred. The certificate must be obtained within 6 months. Must be at least 18 years old. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Salary Range: $18.5165/hr. w/Benefits.
