Job Summary
The job of Art Teacher was established for the purpose of providing a variety of media for all assigned students regardless of their ages and needs. This position will require the teacher to plan and implement a variety of media that is age appropriate for a range of grades andadapt the art activitiesto meet the needs of a variety of students. The teacher will need to plan and prepare effective instruction as well as manage a classroom/learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid PA teaching certificates in Art Education;
- Special Education certification preferred;
- Experience working with students with special needs preferred;
- Ability to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs;
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills;
- Possess strong organizational skills;
- Ability to function independently;
- Flexible and reliable.
This position is an hourly pay.
