About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Apigee Lead to lead API development efforts while ensuring best practices security and performance across Apigee implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and development of RESTful APIs using Apigee.
Develop and manage API proxies policies and shared flows.
Enforce API design standards and development best practices.
Implement authentication authorization encryption and threat protection.
Optimize APIs for performance scalability and reliability.
Integrate APIs with backend systems and cloud services.
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
Conduct code reviews and mentor Apigee developers.
Collaborate with architects DevOps and business teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
12 years overall experience with strong Apigee hands-on expertise.
Strong experience with Apigee proxy and policy development.
Proficiency in Java JavaScript Python.
Solid understanding of OAuth2 JWT SSL/TLS.
Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
Leadership and mentoring experience required.
Apigee certification is a plus.
