THIS IS A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT POSITION

Schedule/Shift:

* Days - 7:00am-3:30pm and Evenings 3:00pm-11:30pm

* Will work both shifts on a rotation

* FT -- 40 hours per week

Under the direction of the Manager of Float Pool Clinical House and unit-based licensed nursing staff the Patient Safety Companion/ COis utilized to sit with patients who are experiencing the following situations including but not limited to : suicide potential potential to harm self or others restless and or confused. The safety companion is to maintain continuous visual observation of the patient.

Job Requirements:

High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
All sitters must maintain yearly training requirements.
American Heart Association BLS/CPR Certification

SHIFT/SCHEDULE

Full Time - Scheduled for 40 Weekly Hours.

Shift Time - This position works Night shifts.

This position will have scheduled shifts every other weekend.
