EHS Musical: Grease Choreographer
Description: Everett High School is seeking an experienced choreographer/dancer to choreograph the spring 2026 musical Grease.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work with youth
- Positive Outcome of CORI SORI and DCF background checks (non-EPS employees)
- Ability to work according to the rehearsal schedule

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelors in Dance or Dance Education preferred.
- Current EPS Teacher or Staff.
- Proven experience as a choreographer.
- Familiarity with dance styles of the 1950s
- Ability to communicate effectively with students teachers parents and administrators.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence equity and professionalism.
- Uphold high expectations for all students with an emphasis on building personal strengths in the teaching/learning process that the student body demands.
- Willingness to collaborate with the Director and fellow production staff
- Prior experience with ELL students in an urban setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in reading writing and speaking in another language in addition to English.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate dance rehearsals in coordination with the directors production schedule.
- Attend all scheduled rehearsals as scheduled.
- Maintain great communication skills and the ability to foster positive professional relationships with students and teachers.
- Maintain a culturally responsive approach to communication with staff students and families as needed.
- Creates and maintains a safe supportive and inclusive environment by establishing dance rehearsal routines and systems to support student learning.
Salary:
This position pays a $2000 stipend.
