Job Summary

EHS Musical: Grease Choreographer

Description: Everett High School is seeking an experienced choreographer/dancer to choreograph the spring 2026 musical Grease.

Requirements:

Eligibility to work with youth
Positive Outcome of CORI SORI and DCF background checks (non-EPS employees)
Ability to work according to the rehearsal schedule

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelors in Dance or Dance Education preferred.
Current EPS Teacher or Staff.
Proven experience as a choreographer.
Familiarity with dance styles of the 1950s
Ability to communicate effectively with students teachers parents and administrators.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence equity and professionalism.
Uphold high expectations for all students with an emphasis on building personal strengths in the teaching/learning process that the student body demands.
Willingness to collaborate with the Director and fellow production staff
Prior experience with ELL students in an urban setting is preferred.
Proficiency in reading writing and speaking in another language in addition to English.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan and facilitate dance rehearsals in coordination with the directors production schedule.
Attend all scheduled rehearsals as scheduled.
Maintain great communication skills and the ability to foster positive professional relationships with students and teachers.
Maintain a culturally responsive approach to communication with staff students and families as needed.
Creates and maintains a safe supportive and inclusive environment by establishing dance rehearsal routines and systems to support student learning.

Salary:

This position pays a $2000 stipend.
