Primary Therapist Residential Level of Care
Position Summary: The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing accurate biopsychosocial assessments treatment planning group/individual/family therapy and crisis intervention.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and other screening tools as required.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Provide individual family and group therapy.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation.
- Participate in individual and group clinical supervision.
- Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Specifications:
- Experience in the treatment of substance use/co-occurring disorders
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
- Computer proficiency (EHRs Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Required licensure: LAAC LAC LMSW LIAC LPC or LCSW
- Certification and experience in trauma therapy is preferred
- Must have at least two (2) years of sobriety if incumbent has disclosed they are in recovery.
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time.
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry up to 10 pounds.
