Technical Solutions Engineer Telford Hybrid Permanent

Seymour John are working with a well-established technology businessbased in Telford who are looking to recruit a Technical Solutions Engineerto join their Technical Department on a permanent basis.

This is a varied and hands-on role providing technical support across the full sales lifecycle from pre-sales engagement through to post-sales support. Working closely with sales service and technical teams the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing technical support to customers and partners via phone email online systems and on-site when required
Collaborating with sales teams on projects solution recommendations proposals and customer presentations
Taking ownership of technical issues including investigation resolution documentation and escalation
Logging and tracking technical issues using internal systems ensuring accurate updates and resolution tracking
Managing proof-of-concept and technical customisation projects through to completion
Supporting and maintaining demonstration equipment and technical resources
Working closely with internal technical teams to resolve technical and project-related issues

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

A minimum of 5 years experience within the IT or technology sector
At least 3 years hands-on experience in computer diagnostics and hardware support
Strong knowledge of PC architecture Windows-based systems networking and security
Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
A proactive solution-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to travel and adapt working hours when required
