Job Summary
We are hiring on behalf of our client a global innovator in fitness and wellness technology. Their mission is to empower people to live fit strong long and happy lives by delivering integrated experiences to millions of members anytime anywhere.
As a Shopify Engineer you will take full ownership of e-commerce storefronts across multiple markets acting as the dedicated technical partner. Youll work closely with stakeholders to improve conversion enable data-driven decision-making and ensure seamless integration between Shopify and the wider technology ecosystem. This is a senior autonomous role with strong strategic influence combining hands-on development.

Responsibilities:
Shopify Development & Ownership
- Build maintain and optimize high-performing Shopify storefronts across international markets.
- Develop reusable performant Liquid components and custom Shopify applications.
- Ensure storefronts can be easily managed by non-technical stakeholders.
E-commerce Optimization & Analytics
- Partner with e-commerce leaders to identify and implement improvements that boost conversion and customer satisfaction.
- Own analytics tooling and reporting to support data-driven decisions.
- Translate insights from experiments dashboards and user behavior into technical solutions.
Systems Integration & Architecture
- Integrate third-party tools services and partners into the Shopify ecosystem.
- Act as the technical liaison between Shopify and upstream/downstream systems (finance accounting fulfillment data platforms).
- Ensure compliance with security financial and infrastructural standards.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify development using Liquid or similar templating languages.
- Experience building Shopify apps using JavaScript Rust or comparable technologies.
- Solid understanding of Git-based workflows (e.g. GitHub).
- Experience working with GraphQL and consuming APIs.
E-commerce & Data Experience
- Background working on large-scale e-commerce platforms with complex product catalogs.
- Familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude heatmaps Triple Whale or Microsoft Clarity.
- Experience building dashboards and interpreting performance data using observability tools (e.g. Datadog or similar).
Collaboration & Mindset
- Comfortable partnering closely with non-technical stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
