Departmental Analyst 9-P11 (E Level)
This position serves as an analyst in the MDHHS Bureau of Grants & Purchasing Grants Division andis responsible for administration of grant awards issued to various entities such as local healthdepartments community mental health organizations social services agencies and other community-based position performs professional assignments independently. Responsibilities include grant application design and report development review and approval of grant applications and development of agreements training and technical assistance and other duties as assigned.

Departmental Analyst 12 (A level)
This position serves as a senior level analyst in the MDHHS Bureau of Grants & Purchasing Grants Division and is responsible for administration of complex grant awards issued to various entities such as local health departments community mental health organizations social services agencies and other community-based organizations. This position performs assignments independently. Responsibilities include complex grant application design and report development review and approval of grant applications and development of agreements advance training and technical assistance and other duties as assigned. This position handles the most complex duties through meeting approved senior standards.

Required Education and Experience

Education
Possession of a bachelors degree in any major.

Experience

Departmental Analyst 9

No specific type or amount is required.

Departmental Analyst 10
One year of professionalexperience.

Departmental Analyst P11
Two years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Departmental Analyst 12
Three years of professionalexperience including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.

Additional Requirements and Information

The physical location of this position isGrand Tower Building 235 S. Grand Ave. Lansing MI.Based on operational needs and within established limits remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely and must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense including:

  • A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
  • A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
  • Suitable lighting furniture and utilities.
