As an Interior Design Intern in our Las Vegas office youll step beyond the classroom and into a collaborative interdisciplinary studio environment. Youll work alongside interior designers and architects gaining hands-on exposure to the full design processfrom concept development and material exploration to 3D visualization and construction site visits. This internship offers an opportunity to sharpen your skills contribute meaningful ideas and experience how design shapes spaces supports well-being and impacts the communities we serve.
Working with us you will have opportunities to:
- Work within interdisciplinary teams to contribute to design and develop will include iterative design development and researching construction materials and methods to support regenerative design outcomes.
- Utilizestate-of-the-arttechnology such as virtual realityand3D modeling and printing.
- Engage in the development of construction documents utilizingAutoDeskRevit;
- Experience construction administrationthrough projectsite visits.
- Support the Design Library by organizing materials and engaging with vendors and industry contacts toidentifysustainable design resources.
To be eligible candidate has:
- A strong desireto learn and activelyengageproject teams.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a minimum of two years completed or one year in a graduate program in architectureorinterior design(accredited programs preferred but notrequired).
- Current enrollment in an associate level program in architectural drafting or related program with a minimum of one year completed.
- Availability to dedicate40 hoursper week for the duration of the summerbreak.
- Willingness to work in-office5days per week.
- Introductory-levelproficiencyin Adobe Photoshop Adobe InDesign and Autodesk Revit.
