Job Summary
Overview
Steampunk is seeking an Accounting and Finance Intern. Tasks will be closely aligned with accounting & finance but could also be associated with assisting our companies sectors and projects.
Contributions
As a Steampunk Accounting & Finance Intern your daily responsibilities will vary by project but you can expect to:
- Assist in various accounting activities such as Accounts Payables Expense Reporting Accounts Receivables and preparing journal entries
- Assist with finance activities such as forecasting monthly results & reporting
- Continually experience new and engaging opportunities challenging work flexibility career sponsorship and mentoring and recognition for your contributions
- Develop accounting and finance acumen which will make a positive impact on the company
Qualifications
Required:
- Rising college junior rising senior or current senior
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Desire to continuously learn
- Strong interpersonal written and communication skills
- Excellent team-buildingand collaboration skills with cross-function teams
- Ability to learn new skills tools and technology
- Resourceful in overcoming obstacles
- Understanding basic accounting and corporate finance
- Experience with Excel Word and Power-Point
- Local to the DMV area
