Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia PA.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research develop design manufacture and test tools engines machines and other mechanical devices.
• Ability to work on power-producing machines such as electric generators internal combustion engines and steam and gas turbines.
• Develop power-using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment machine tools material handling systems elevators and escalators industrial production equipment and robots used in manufacturing.
• Perform system troubleshooting maintenance repair and design development for system upgrades improvements and modernization.
• Develop hardware processes enhancements and procedures for development testing installation troubleshooting maintenance and training.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings schematics system diagrams technical manuals and as-built documentation.
• Provide engineering evaluation reports on conceptual designs and system analyses.
• Support configuration changes resolve Problem Reports and Casualty Reports (CASREPs) and maintain configuration control.
• Develop innovative techniques and prototype concepts to support ISEA functions and system improvements.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering documents including:
  • Test plans and procedures
  • Interface design specifications
  • Technical reports and analyses

EXPERIENCE:

• Seven (7) years of experience in Engineering or Information Systems discipline. Experience supporting DoD or Navy systems is preferred.
• Experience with systems engineering configuration management and lifecycle support.
• Familiarity with CMMI QA processes and reliability engineering practices.
• Experience with technical documentation drawings and engineering change processes.
• Knowledge of test and evaluation system integration and environmental qualification testing.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
