Talent Development Specialist

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Development Specialist to design deliver and continuously improve learning talent and engagement initiatives across our global workforce. This role plays a critical part in building skills growing succession pipeline strengthening culture and enhancing the employee experience in a fast-paced technology-driven environment. You will collaborate closely with HR business leaders and key stakeholders to ensure programs are scalable and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Design implement and manage global learning programs including New Employee Experience / onboarding leadership development technical upskilling and professional skills training.
- Partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to identify capability gaps and translate them into effective learning solutions.
- Manage and optimize learning platforms ensuring high adoption quality content and measurable outcomes.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using data feedback and performance metrics; continuously refine offerings based on insights.
- Support career development initiatives including learning pathways mentoring and internal mobility.
Employee Engagement
- Develop and execute employee engagement strategies that support company culture values and business priorities.
- Lead global engagement initiatives such as surveys and action planning and culture-building campaigns.
- Analyze engagement data and trends across; partner with leaders and HR Business Partners to drive targeted practical improvements.
- Support change management and communications related to learning engagement and organizational initiatives.
Collaboration & Global Enablement
- Work effectively across time zones and cultures adapting programs to meet local needs while maintaining global consistency.
- Act as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners and leaders on learning succession and engagement best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Organizational Development Education Psychology or a related field.
- 47 years of experience in learning & development employee engagement or talent development preferably in an IT or software environment.
- Experience supporting a global distributed workforce.
- Strong instructional design and facilitation skills (virtual and in-person).
- Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Familiarity with learning technologies digital learning tools and engagement platforms LMS administration (Absorb preferred).
