Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) 28000

Leading a room in this nursery means balancing hands-on practice with clear responsibility for quality and consistency. The Nursery Room Leader oversees daily delivery of the EYFS supports colleagues in the room and helps shape meaningful learning experiences across a purpose-built setting. The nursery is rated Good by Ofsted and benefits from experienced leadership.

Before You Apply

  • This role requires recent experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner within an EYFS nursery.
  • Applicants must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
  • This position is not suitable for candidates without experience leading practice within a nursery room.

What Youll Need

  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
  • Recent experience as a Nursery Room Leader or senior practitioner
  • Strong working knowledge of the EYFS
  • Confidence leading practice and supporting staff within a room
  • Ability to maintain quality consistency and compliance in a busy setting

What Youll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your assigned room
  • Plan deliver and review EYFS activities aligned to childrens interests
  • Support and guide practitioners working within your room
  • Monitor observations assessments and record keeping
  • Maintain safeguarding health and safety standards
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and specialist colleagues to ensure consistent practice
