Job Summary

The Opportunity: 

Mattel is looking for a Manager of Analytics to join the Product Quality Analytics team within the Global Quality organization. This role is responsible for building and scaling a trusted centralized analytics ecosystem that seamlessly connects data foundation self-service reporting and advanced analytics to support decision-making across the Quality organization.

The Manager of Analytics will lead the development and application of advanced analytics AI and data science solutions to proactively identify trends mitigate risk and improve product quality safety and consumer satisfaction. This role plays a key leadership position in establishing a best-in-class analytics platform developing team capability and expanding the organizations ability to deliver actionable forward-looking insights.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on how quality data and insights are used across the organization. The Manager of Analytics will:

  • Establish and maintain a trusted centralized analytics environment that delivers accurate consistent and governed data
  • Enable self-service reporting and interactive dashboards that empower stakeholders to make informed timely decisions
  • Lead the development of advanced analytics predictive models and AI-driven insights to proactively identify quality and safety risks
  • Drive automation and analytical innovation to improve efficiency and insight scalability
  • Translate complex data into clear actionable insights for Quality Safety Design and Product Development partners
  • Build mentor and develop a high-performing analytics team capable of delivering best-in-class outcomes

This role enables the Product Quality Analytics team to be forward-thinking proactive and insight-driven directly contributing to improved consumer satisfaction and product excellence.


Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

  • 7 years of experience in analytics data science or related analytical disciplines
  • 3 years of experience leading or managing analytics teams
  • Proven experience building and scaling centralized analytics or data platforms
  • Experience applying advanced analytics predictive modeling AI or data science techniques to business problems
  • Strong expertise in self-service BI dashboarding and data visualization best practices
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with modern cloud data platforms (e.g. Google BigQuery)
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical solutions
  • Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and influencing decision-making
  • Strong people leadership skills with a focus on coaching development and team growth
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance strategic initiatives with operational delivery
  • Curiosity data passion and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Clear confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning embracing challenges and improving themselves.
