Job Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining quality control of products.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Nothing in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
- Completes profiles on production finished materials and on product purchases and shipments per Company standards.
- Serves as liaison between the plant and Central Lab with respect to product quality.
- Obtain package and ship samples for testing to Central Lab
- Submit test results to Supervisor General Manager Plant Manager and Sales Manager.
- Perform quality analyses on finished products.
- Maintains lab materials and work area in clean condition.
- Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules & regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- One year of prior laboratory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Work well with others in a team management and regulatory environment.
- Highly organized; superior time management skills.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
- Safety conscience; detail oriented; able to multi-task.
- Good computer and math skills.
- Basic chemistry knowledge helpful.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk stand sit climb balance stoop kneel crawl and crouch.
- Frequently lifts up to 20 lbs.
- Occasionally push pull move or lift 50 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in an office lab or plant environment
