Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care

Contract Duration: 15 Weeks

Position Summary

A healthcare organization in Syracuse NY is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN for a 15-week travel assignment. This role supports adult and/or pediatric critical care units providing high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established protocols
Monitor and manage patients requiring continuous cardiac respiratory and hemodynamic support
Administer and titrate medications including vasoactive drips per physician orders
Perform advanced assessments and respond to acute changes in patient condition
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physicians respiratory therapists and ancillary staff
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Adhere to infection control policies patient safety standards and regulatory requirements
Participate in emergency response and rapid response teams as required

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 12 years of critical care experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong critical thinking communication and clinical skills
Ability to work night shifts and a flexible rotation schedule
